Diese Ausgabe von gfh setzt sich unter verschiedenen Blickwinkeln mit der aktuellen Geschichtslehrer*innenausbildung auseinander. In einem Einführungsbeitrag werden neue Forschungsperspektiven zur Professionalisierung von Geschichtslehrkräften und mögliche Auswirkungen auf den Unterrichtserfolg zusammengefasst und diskutiert, wie die Lehrer*innenbildung an deutschen Universitäten in den letzten Jahren angepasst wurde, um bessere Lehrkräfte hervorzubringen. In zwei Beiträgen kommen Studierende selbst zu Wort.
